I’m a storyteller at heart, but instead of words, I use light, laughter, and love to capture the moments that matter most. Specializing in maternity, newborn, family, and intimate weddings, I believe the best photos aren’t just about how you look—they’re about how you feel.
Life moves fast. Babies don’t keep, kids grow in the blink of an eye, and love only deepens with time. That’s why I do what I do—to freeze those little moments before they slip away. Whether it’s golden-hour giggles, cozy newborn snuggles, or the beautiful chaos of family life, I embrace it all. No stiff poses here—just real, unfiltered connections, with a little gentle guidance if you need it (because let’s be honest, being in front of a camera can feel weird at first!).

Lea just did our family fall photos. It was our first time with Lea and I must say it was such a pleasure to meet her. She was so kind and very patient with our two girls (1 and 2yrs old) they were not in the best mood and Lea still managed to capture some beautiful moments! She is GREAT with children. I recently did a maternity shoot that included my 20-month old son and for the first time ever he decided to have an absolutely meltdown for the majority of it. And even so, Lea was SO patient and good with him. I was shocked with how flawless the photos turned out considering how difficult it was keeping the kiddos composure. They are beautiful. And Something I can treasure forever now all because she made it possible. Highly recommend.

We used Lea May photography for an autumn twilight mini session and we were blown away. She was able to capture gorgeous family photos, even when dealing with an uncooperative 3 year old, dog that kept straying and a three month old baby. She was kind and thoughtful through the whole process from booking to receiving our photos. We will be back!
Lea did some mothers day minis for us and I'm so impressed. She was on time, prepared and didn't bat an eye at my wild boys. She sent me the proofs and edits in a quick turnaround. I was also impressed with her location choice and set up.

It can be challenging to work with two young kids, but Lea was so patient and provided excellent direction throughout our session. Lea captured our family absolutely perfectly in a way that was fun and real, and the resulting photos were absolutely stunning!
We just had our 4th session and are as pleased as we always are. She truly captures the candid moments and angles. I cannot rave enough about our in home maternity session with an unruly toddler. She captured the most incredible moments and photos with a Toddler running around. I was worried about a 15 minute mini session because that’s about how long it can take a 2 year old and 9 month old to put a shoe on…. But she did it. Once again, amazing shots that captured it all :) Lea is a natural.
